"Learn. Dont study." - Nabeel

Source: S.O. News Service

"It is better to learn than to study. Learning is a permanent process rather than studying which is a temporary one. Do not restrict yourselves within the nutshell created in your mind. Break out of the nutshell and definitely no one can stop you from achieving great heights. This is my message for students," said Nabeel Mustafa, student of Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management, Bhatkal who became the 'golden boy' of Bhatkal for the 12 gold medals with which he will be awarded for securing the first rank in his civil engineering examinations in the entire university.

"There is no short-cut to success anywhere. Any scripture you come across, mentions that success can be only achieved through constant hard work and dedication. I personally feel that if a person does have passion in his field, definitely he will achieve excellence," He added.

Describing the moments when he was informed that he had secured the first rank in the entire university, Mustafa said, "I got a call from our HOD, one fine evening saying that I had got the 1st rank at VTU. I was awestruck and speechless for almost a few seconds. I was literally jumping with joy."

When asked about the weaknesses of AITM students, Mustafa said, "The greatest weakness I would say is the lack of will power and competition among our students. They have humongous capabilities which they forget in due course of time and go astray from their path and goals."

Praising AITM and its lecturers, Mustafa defined them as the greatest thing which AITM has to offer. "The greatest offer of AITM are the all time available professors. Our professors are great source of knowledge and inspiration. They will literally help you to tap your resources and help us achieve great success."

Nabeel Mustafa will be awarded with 12 gold medals in the convocation ceremony of Visvesvaraya Technology University.
