Who Can Apply
Admission to 40 percent of total seats is made by the Govt. of Karnataka through Common Entrance Test Cell, Bangalore and to the remaining 35 percent which is particularly earmarked for Muslim minority community is made by the Management. Remaining 25 per cent of total seats is earmarked to NRI and others under management quota. A citizen of India irrespective of religion, caste and creed is eligible for admission to the College, subject to the fulfillment of conditions prescribed by the Government as under:
- 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 45% of marks in Physics & Mathematics along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology. For applicants belonging to SC/ST and students hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, the north eastern states – Assam, Meghalaya Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh, 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 40% of marks in Physics & Mathematics along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science.
- Engineering Diploma holders are also eligible for admission to second Year B.E. (III semester for Karnataka CET students ).
